Nawaz addresses Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party rally in Quetta

QUETTA: Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif is addressing a rally of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party in Qutta.

He asked the organizers to  remove a thick  bullet-proof  glass  as he began his speech from the stage.

Praising   Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai, he said Mahmood Khan Achakzai was following in the  footsteps of his great father.

The former prime minister said Achakzai was his ideological   friend, vowing to work  along with the PKMAP chief for the rule of law in Pakistan.

The rally is being held in the provincial capital's Ayub Stadium.

The Pakistan Muslim League (PMLN) leader has been invited to address the rally by PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai, a key ally of the ruling party.

Posters of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz have  been put up in Quetta.

Achakzai, whose elder brother Muhammad Khan Achakzai is the governor of Balochistan, has stood by the ruling party during all the crises the ruling party has faced since it came into power .
